SANNA PATRICK

This collection is themed around relationship, love and sexuality. The pandemic has shown us the importance of relationships. They are like a precious good we need to care for and protect.

The Spherical Human philosophy and tessellated design arose from the Platonic idea that humans were once spherical beings with two heads, four arms and four legs. There were male-male, female-female and andogyn beings. These round beings were too perfect. When they became too powerful, the gods split them in two. To become whole - which is only possible for a short moment of time - humans need to find their lost other half.

The philosophy of the Spherical Human is inclusive and diverse and asserts that we are all beautiful. It encourages people to think about sexuality and gender and compassion and acceptance. It explains why different sexual tendencies exist, why we fall in love and why we long for proximity. It empowers the wearer to understand who and what they are. If people use this philosophy as a prism to view the world, it will help to create a planet in which every person is treated with respect.

The Spherical Humans create the new icon of SANNA PATRICK. A Constantin Brancusi sculpture, The Kiss, depicting the momentary fusion of two lovers, also inspired the design.
